Your Second Visit
Report of Findings
When you come back for your follow-up visit, we will go over all of the information and examinations that have been performed. The Dr. Mahler will give you a report of findings during which he will answer the three most popular questions:
- Can you help me?
- What do you recommend that I do to get better?
- How much is it going to cost?
After discussing your history and your goals, examining your spine and reviewing any x-rays and tests, Dr. Mahler will discuss recommendations with you. If you have a condition that requires care with other providers, the chiropractor will tell you. If the chiropractor believes he can help you, he will recommend treatment handle any questions you may have. Treatment

At Mahler Family Chiropractic Center, patients will be provided with their first treatment at the conclusion of the second appointment. This may include spinal adjustments, physical therapies, and soft tissue therapies. The treatment is interactive so you can express any concerns you have about the style of adjustment. Dr. Mahler tailors his treatments and adjustments to the individual. To achieve this goal communication is critical.
Wellness Program
Prior to leaving, Dr. Mahler will be instructed patients on wellness programs to be conducted at home. If you are in pain when you first come into our office treatments may include ice application, home exercise instructions. In addition we will teach you avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercises and/or stretches. If you desire an overall wellness lifestyle, our wellness team will work with you to create good habits and routines that support your success over a life time. Since every body is unique and different everyone requires a unique and customized wellness plan. The base of our overall wellness lifestyle includes maintaining good spinal alignment, eating a healthy diet, taking supplements, keeping your weight under control and stress relief.
